CargoDash JA – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by CargoDash JA. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service offered by CargoDash JA, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of our services constitutes full acceptance of these terms and any future updates.

2. Scope of Services

CargoDash JA provides logistics and shipping services including:

• U.S. to Jamaica shipping services
• Air freight package forwarding
• Online shopping assistance for U.S. stores
• Package handling and storage
• Local pickup and delivery services
• Islandwide transfers through trusted courier partners

CargoDash JA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Rates

CargoDash JA provides transparent and affordable shipping rates.

Shipping Price (1 lb – 10 lbs)
JMD $700 per pound

Shipping Price (Over 10 lbs)
JMD $650 per pound

These rates cover:

• Transportation from the United States to Jamaica
• Local package handling
• Standard processing

Important:
Shipping charges are separate from Customs duties.

4. Weight Rounding Policy

All package weights are rounded up to the nearest pound in accordance with international shipping standards.

Example:
A package weighing 2.5 lbs will be charged as 3 lbs.

5. Customs Duties & Government Charges

Customs duties and taxes are assessed by Jamaica Customs and are not included in CargoDash JA shipping rates.

These charges are determined based on:

• Item value
• Item category
• Government regulations

Customers are responsible for paying all customs duties upon package arrival.

CargoDash JA does not control or determine these fees.

6. Pickup Location

CargoDash JA operates from:

Customers will receive pickup instructions once their packages arrive and are processed.

Notifications will be sent when packages are ready for collection.

7. Delivery Services

CargoDash JA offers delivery options including:

Local Delivery
Available within Port Antonio and surrounding areas in Portland Parish.

Islandwide Transfers
Available through trusted courier partners to locations such as:

• Kingston
• Montego Bay
• Ocho Rios

Additional fees may apply for delivery outside Port Antonio.

8. Shipping Schedule

Shipping timelines are estimates only and may vary due to:

• Airline schedules
• Customs inspections
• Weather conditions
• Vendor delays
• International logistics factors

CargoDash JA does not guarantee delivery times but strives to provide fast, reliable, stress-free shipping.

9. Responsibility & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer's risk.

CargoDash JA assumes limited liability for shipments and is not responsible for:

• Vendor shipping errors
• Incorrect addresses provided by customers
• Packages lost before arriving at our U.S. warehouse
• Customs seizures or inspections
• Delays caused by airlines, customs, or courier partners

Responsibility begins once packages are received and logged into our system.

10. Packaging & Fragile Items

CargoDash JA is not responsible for damages caused by poor vendor packaging.

Fragile items including:

• Electronics
• Glass
• Liquids
• Cosmetics
• Breakable goods

are shipped entirely at the customer's risk.

11. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must comply with all Jamaican and international shipping laws.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Firearms or ammunition
• Explosives or hazardous materials
• Counterfeit goods
• Pornographic material
• Perishable foods
• Live animals
• Cash or negotiable instruments

CargoDash JA reserves the right to refuse shipment of prohibited items.

Any restricted item may be confiscated or surrendered to authorities without refund.

12. Online Shopping Assistance

CargoDash JA offers assistance with purchasing items from U.S. online stores.

Conditions include:

• Full payment must be made before purchase
• Customers must verify product details before ordering
• CargoDash JA is not responsible for vendor errors, wrong items, sizing issues, or supplier delays
• Refunds or exchanges must be handled directly with the vendor

13. Referral Program

CargoDash JA offers a Customer Referral Program.

Customers receive:

JMD $300 shipping credit

for each successful referral once the referred customer completes their first shipment.

Credits are applied toward future shipping fees.

14. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Customers will be notified when packages arrive.

Packages not collected within 7 days may incur storage fees.

Packages uncollected after 30 days may be:

• donated
• auctioned
• disposed of

to recover storage and administrative costs.

15. Payments

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Cash
• Bank transfer
• Approved digital payment options

All shipping charges must be paid in full before package release or delivery.

16. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted within 48 hours of package collection or delivery.

Supporting documents such as:

• invoices
• photos
• proof of purchase

may be required.

WhatsApp messages do not constitute official claims unless directed by CargoDash JA.

17. Amendments

CargoDash JA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated versions will be posted on the website.
